Dear CVBS student families,
Thank you for the love and support during this time of grief over the loss of Pastor Bob Fricks. Though he struggled with some health issues, his death still seemed so sudden to all of us. But we find peace as we think of the reality of the gospel. Jesus conquered sin and death so that His people, upon death, enter God’s presence.
Pastor Fricks’ memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, June 22, at 11:00am here at Galilee Baptist Church. With the pandemic restrictions, there are limits on seating. The family has requested only family and church family attend. They requested that school families, whom they love, view the service livestream through the church website (www.gbcinkent.com) or the church’s YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIoyVPnXrDBvaoy02Sz3c_Q
We know there are questions about the future of the school. We know there will be challenges because of Pastor Fricks’ absence, but Lord willing, Galilee Baptist Church will continue its school ministry of Cascade Vista Baptist School for the 2021-2022 school year. We appreciate your prayers as we progress to that end.

If you would like to give to the ministry of CVBS, your gift will go into a scholarship fund to help struggling families with tuition costs. Checks can be written to the church or the school, but make sure the memo is marked for Bob Fricks Memorial.
